My technique is varied, my obsessions sophisticated, my motive intense.

No medium exists I won't touch if I can touch it, and somehow,

I will give it mind to speak the hues of its clues.

My movements sublime, denotation keeps time -

There's no subject my neurons don't re-construct

with their own chroma, flavor, rhythm and rhyme.

I'm the tenth born of Passion and Lyre, hybrid-tree embers fuse,

glow in her pyre.

Free-will prisoner, introspective inquisitor,

mellow, dramatic,

with chromed-toned brushstrokes that flow

into mercurial stone.

Stepping in college, dancing right out,

Picking dimes and quarters for skills -

Starvation for pictures, drawing past dates,

keeping poor Destiny, alone at the Gates

Here with you now, in light and dark hours
